About Shireinu Choir of Long Island

Exploring Jewish Heritage Through Music

Shireinu Choir of Long Island features selections in Hebrew as well as English, Ladino, Italian and Yiddish, and explores Jewish heritage through music and song.

Our repertoire is taken from traditional Jewish choral works of the past to contemporary composers.

Participants from any town or borough are invited to participate. We are an SATB, nondenominational choir. Those wishing to audition should email Deborah.Tartell@shireinuchoirli.org.

All rehearsals, unless otherwise noted, take place on Thursdays starting at 7:30 pm
We rehearse in Great Neck, NY
