Who is the Shireinu Choir of Long Island?
Welcome!
We are the Shireinu Choir of Long Island, New York.
Founded in 2017, our mission is to bring together a community of mixed adult voices to celebrate the rich diversity of Jewish music and culture.
Shireinu Choir of Long Island features selections in Hebrew as well as English, Ladino, Italian and Yiddish, and explores Jewish heritage through music and song.
Our repertoire is taken from traditional Jewish choral works of the past to contemporary composers.
Participants from any town or borough are invited to participate.
We are an SATB, non-denominational choir.

Auditions are held annually in September. To set up an appointment please email our director: Deborah.Tartell@shireinuchoirli.org
Weekly rehearsals take place in Great Neck, NY on Thursday evenings.
